MART Formula Student is made up of a team of young talents dedicated to the design and manufacture of a formula car for competition. 

Thanks to the conversations established with Lucía Gallego Carrasco in her capacity as Team Leader, Global Composites immediately knew that it was a great initiative to collaborate with MART Formula Student because of its dedication to research, development and construction of a single-seater racing car within the Formula Student educational programme. Our DNA based on training and learning, as well as the practical experience of students in the field of engineering, is one of our priorities and will be even more so in 2025.

Global Composites’ role in the team’s success

Taking into account that Global Composites is dedicated to the production and commercialisation of high quality materials, with a strong focus on sustainability, innovation and the support of technological and educational projects, our role in the final success of the construction of the single-seater and in the development of the MART Formula Student business plan, is formalised in a collaboration and sponsorship in which we commit ourselves to:

– Providing training courses

– Provide composite materials such as recycled carbon fibre and recyclable thermosetting resins that will be used in the development and manufacture of the MART single-seater.

– Promote the advancement of the engineering and manufacturing skills of participating students.

This collaboration between both entities is very beneficial as it promotes the development of competences in the field of engineering and technology through the use of composites, thus contributing to innovation and sustainability in the manufacture of prototypes and competition parts for MART’s electric vehicle.

Once again, at Global Composites we show how we build the future together, sponsoring and supporting projects such as MART Formula Student, which aims to research, develop and build a single-seater racing car with a design and manufacture made entirely by students with materials such as resins and recycled fibres. 

 The success of your project will be assessed in the competition by static tests, where the business plan, cost management and justification of the single-seater design would come in, and also by dynamic tests where the performance and reliability of the single-seater on the track is evaluated, always taking into account the value in terms of sustainability that you have opted for.
