Discover how Global Composites is leading the way towards a more sustainable mobility. We introduce our solutions with the aim of building the future of the transport sector together.
The Innotrans International Trade Fair is held every two years in Berlin, and this year it will take place from 24 to 27 September 2024 inclusive. This event has established itself as a key event for the transport sector, where innovation and sustainability must set the guidelines for the future of mobility.
The Global Composites team will be present at the stand shared with In-Move by Railgrup, together with other associated companies and the European project of which the cluster is part: LEADER 2030.
Innovation in composites: recyclable resins for transport
Together with Swancor, Global Composites is the main distributor in Europe and North Africa of the first 100% recyclable thermosetting resin system on the market: EzCiclo ♻️. A solution designed to promote more sustainable and safer mobility.
In a context where sustainability is the way forward, cutting-edge solutions that are committed to reducing waste to a minimum play a crucial role. Global Composites will stand out in this fair for the proposals that seek to transform the transport industry, reducing the environmental impact, reinforcing safety thanks to flame retardant solutions, and guaranteeing the quality of the final product.
In order to continue taking steps towards sustainability and as we contribute with these new solutions to projects such as the collaboration with LIUX, Global Composites wants to focus on the importance of creating lighter and more efficient vehicles that, at the same time, are safe and environmentally friendly. During the fair, we will discuss how the use of state-of-the-art materials can improve fire and/or smoke response. Likewise, these new options are lighter than traditional ones, have a longer life cycle and can be recycled.
EzCiclo and its importance in the transport sector.
The future of mobility depends, in large part, on the industry’s ability to adopt and develop new solutions that enable the creation of more sustainable vehicles. At Global Composites, and hand in hand with Swancor, we are committed to leading this transformative project with our proposals in recycled composites in the railway sector.
EzCiclo ♻️ as the first 100% recyclable thermosetting resin system on the market, achieves a carbon footprint that is reduced to a minimum compared to traditional materials. The great advantage that differentiates it from the rest is that the composites manufactured with this system can be degraded by reactor treatment and by means of temperature, and the help of the degrading agent, CleaVER, also provided by Global Composites and our collaboration with Swancor.
CleaVER breaks the polymer chain of the composite, degrades and dissolves it, so that the resulting products, a liquid oligomer and the fibres, can be separated for later reuse.
The presence of Global Composites at Innotrans 2024
Innovation in recyclable and flame-retardant options for the transport industry, and the railway industry in particular, is one of the central themes of the trade fair. Our proposals will be presented on this stage as solutions that are not only sustainable, but also highly functional and safe.
The location of the stand shared with In-Move by Railgrup is Hall 7.1c | 400. Take a look at the agenda of activities:
From 24th to 27th September, we will be talking to all those who wish to visit our stand about the different recyclability solutions we offer for the railway sector, but we will also be present at two key activities at the fair:
On September 26th, at 15:30 PM, we will participate in the round table organised by In-Move by Railgrup: LEADER 2030 TALKS, | ‘CAN COMPOSITES HELP INNOVATION AND SUPPLY AUTONOMY IN RAILWAYS?
And on September 27th, from 10am to 10:30am in the Mobility+ Corner, there will be various presentations on the topic ‘Latest innovation for safety and sustainability in rail transportation’. One of them will be led by Rafael Mellado, CEO | Managing Director of Global Composites.
